Artist's Statement

Connie The passion of creating is what I live for. I love having the freedom to experiment with new techniques and media, often surprising myself in the creative process. Working experimentally lets me play with concepts and imagery while reinventing my art. The process is as important as the finished product.

Art is a form of communication and through familiar imagery I "speak" a common visual language with the viewer. Symbols that represent the common threads and relationships of life are prevalent in my paintings. My current work combines the ancient art of printmaking with cutting edge technology.

My art is in numerous corporate and private collections world wide. Some corporate commissions include the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City, the Princess Cruise Lines, Florida, and the Crown Plaza Hotel in White Plains, New York.
